My photographic interest is trains. I have recently moved into night photography, which I have wanted to do since I began shooting railroad-related subjects over 15 years ago. My interest in trains was prompted by my grandfather, who worked for Southern Railway and filled many hours of my youth with day-trips to see trains.
I also enjoy sports photography and have covered several leagues where my kids are involved.
I am happily married with 3 great kids. Since photography doesn't pay the bills, I work as a project manager with a small engineering firm, doing mainly heavy industrial work, such as power and chemical industry projects. I have a degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University.
